Cancellation

Student Course cancellations will be subject to the following fees:

  • Cancellations within 14 days of the start date will be charged 50% of the fee.
  • Cancellations more than 14 days before the start date will be refunded

Missing a Class
The fee for individual classes will not be refunded. If you must miss a class, I’ll do my best to let you make it up in another class. Missed time can not be carried over to the next course.

Studio Cancellation
If the studio is forced to close due to factors outside of my control such as severe weather conditions or an infectious disease such as Covid-19 I’m afraid we are not able to offer any refunds.

The Corner Pottery Workshop reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient bookings have been received, and will strive to give as much notice of this as possible.

Students booked onto a cancelled class will be given the option of a full refund or of rescheduling to a future class.

Attendance
I generally open the door a few minutes before each class is due to start. Please just walk in. Also, please arrive on time. There’s a lot to do in each class and I begin promptly on time.

Health and Safety
Users of the studio do so at their own risk with awareness of the inherent hazards of a pottery studio environment which include use of sharp tools, exposure to toxic materials, and the risks associate with breathing dust.

Technical issues and breakages
The Corner Pottery Workshop will try to ensure that your ceramic work is handled in an experienced way. However, by the very nature of ceramics, there is always a risk of technical failure and breakages for which I cannot be held in any way responsible.

Collection of Works
Collect your finished work as soon as possible after your course ends. If not collected within 1 month, I will sadly have to dispose of it..

Studio Clean-up
Students are asked to clean tools and all areas around their work area thoroughly before completing their class.
